Harbin Tour by Return Sleeper Train from Beijing
Venues will open around Christmas time depending on the weather.
This this tour is economical in that you travel by overnight train both directions and see all the main sights in one day, then go back by train that evening. There is no hotel stay in Harbin, making it fast and inexpensive. However it can be difficult to secure train tickets during the festival. Train tickets can only be purchased 2 weeks in advance and we may not be able to get them for some dates, nor can we guarantee which berths or cabins will be issued. Plane tickets are possible to book far in advance.
This itinerary can be customized by our staff to include an overnight in a Harbin hotel, more or different activities and you can fly one direction if you prefer. Email us on book@thechinaguide.com and let us know your preferences.

Day 1
Soft sleeper night train from Beijing to Harbin does not include transfer to Beijing rail station)
Day 2
Pickup at Harbin train station
Walk up the main pedestrian street paved with bricks and enjoy the old town feeling with classic architecture and Russian flavor. Have breakfast or coffee (not included)
Song Hua River- view the winder activity and participate in optional activities such sledding,skating,dogsled rides, horse carriage ride on the river, giant slides. Optional activity costs not included.

Have a meal (not included)
World of Ice and Snow
Transfer to the train station, soft sleeper train back to Beijing
Day 3
Morning arrival at Beijing railway station - end of tour
