Hike on the Great Wall from Jinshanling to Simatai. The most spectacular of all great wall hikes, this section of the wall is just partially restored. This is 6 miles/10km. We provide you with 2 bottles of water per person plus snacks. This hike usually takes 3-5 hours at a leisurely pace. You may stop and take photos, rest, and enjoy the hike at whatever pace you prefer. As you are already at the wall (2 1/2 hours out of Beijing) you can start before other groups from the city arrive and before the sun gets too hot. Bring sun lotion.
Arrive in Simatai and enjoy Chinese style lunch including unlimited standard drinks.
Return to Beijing
Enjoy Tea Ceremony in a classical courtyard style building on one of Beijing's old canals. Birds in cages, often live music and certainly a private tea ceremony and tasting.
Return to your hotel at 3-5pm.
This itinerary is identical in price to the current itinerary. Be sure to bring your passport as you need it to check into the hotel.
